2024 started in Asia for SOMO, with our participation in SteelFab (at Expo Centre Sharjah, UAE) from January 8 to 11, 2024, and Imtex (Bangalore, India) from January 19 to 23, 2024, two of the most important fairs dedicated to the metalworking industry.
The two trade shows were an opportunity to meet customers, suppliers and visitors and present our products, the result of 60 years of experience and made in Italy engineering quality. In fact, we are able to design, supply and install plants for metalworking and steelmaking but also customized solutions for the oil and gas industry.
"This area has become a significant hub for companies such as SOMO in recent years,” explains Matteo Guglielmone, director of SOMO Produzione. ”The demand for machinery and tools used for tube bending and cutting is on the rise, thanks to the growth in their use in hundreds of infrastructure, petrochemical, oil & gas, and industrial projects throughout the region. Definitely we could not miss them."
Stefano Dellacqua and Alberto Di Lauro, sales managers of SOMO Produzione, also comment enthusiastically, "Throughout the Middle East, the demand for longitudinally welded pipe plants, the flagship of SOMO's products," they explain, "is also growing strongly. We were able to present the latest technical innovations of our plants to visitors, knowing well the growing needs of industries such as oil and gas, power, water, food production, electrical, offshore, construction and infrastructure. With an extensive network of local partners as well as experience gained in the Middle East, we are able to offer customized solutions for all these industries."
